A program for students who've never seen a line of code.

Gateway to AI is a four-week, in-person summer program for rising high school juniors and seniors from rural and small-town communities. Hosted at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, the program introduces foundational linear algebra and artificial intelligence tools through hands-on, real-world projects.

Projects are grounded in the industries and challenges that define Wyoming — agriculture, manufacturing, and health. Students build alongside peers from across the state, with instructors trained on MIT's Gateway curriculum and infrastructure provided by PST.

No prior experience in AI, programming, or linear algebra is required. If you can show up, ask questions, and stay curious — you belong here.
